.....A year ago, I earned the title of Miss Mardoo Universe, with three things firmly planted in my mind — friendship, sharing and  understanding.

.....I firmly believe that my yearlong experience has strengthened my resolve that an openness to others and understanding will expand one's horizons. As Miss Mardoo Universe I have been and will continue to be the symbol of that ideal.
